Suilen (или 睡蓮) — это «спящий лотос». А еще это потрясающая японская банда, которая состоит из Фуджии Маки (藤井麻輝) (Soft Ballet) (клавиши, гитара, автор музыки) и Шакуяку (芍薬) (вокал, автор текстов и музыки). Их совместная работа началась еще во время записи альбома Soft Ballet — SYMBIONT (2002), куда Шакуяку была приглашена в качестве бэк-вокалистки. А после того, как Soft Ballet распались во второй раз, Фуджии и Шакуяку стали делать музыку вместе. Фуджии всегда тяготел к различным индустриальным, нойзовомым и довольно тяжелым звукам, что не могло не сказываться на саунде Soft Ballet, но все же, работая с такими разными разными и такими эгоцентричными личностями, как Кен Мориока и Рёичи Эндо, Маки в полную силу развернуться не смог. И, конечно, нельзя не упомянуть его участие в индастриал-проекте Schaft (1991-1994)** Музыкальная душа Фуджии, наконец, обрела покой и гармонию только после того, как он начал работать с Шакуяку. Музыка Suilen — чарующая электронная смесь эмбиента, готики и индустриальных элементов, которые причудливо оплетают волшебный голос Шакуяку. *SOFT BALLET была основана в 1986 клавишником Ken Morioka и вокалистом Ryoichi Endo. Стиль SOFT BALLET - смесь индастриала и синтипопа, однако их звучание со временем становилось все более разнообразным. Пожалуй, самым выдающимся в этой группе был голос Endo, низкий, глубокий, порой похожий на оперный. Этот голос Ryoichi унаследовал от отца, который был оперным певцом. Fuji Maki принял участие в проекте под названием SCHAFT, вместе с Hisashi Imai из BUCK-TICK. Записанная песня была включена в сборник Dance 2 Noise.

Шакуяку, ранее известна как Хироми Фролеска, богиня. Происхождение у нее америко-японо-итальянское. Есть связи с мафиейXD Никогда ничего и никого не боялась. Вышла замуж за Фуджии Маки и забеременела. В 2005 у их родилась дочка Робин Стар. К счастью роды прошли без осложнений...ну если не считать того что Шакуяку стала мамой^^
Фуджии Маки являлся таинственным членом группы Soft Ballet и учавствовал в знаменитом проекте Schaft. Но сейчас это в прошлом. Создал вместе со своей женой группу Suilen (Спящий лотос). Музыкальное оформление взял на себя. Все его знают как тихого, загадочного человека. Но на самом деле у него прекрасное чувство юмора и с ним приятно вести беседу.
